Jan. 31 marked the first MOC deadline since upgrading to our new tracking platform. Launched in Aug. 2024, My MOC was developed to replace MAINPORT and was designed based on member feedback to improve your experience when entering learning activities. A key deliverable of the multi-year initiative Digital Member Experience Transformation (DMET), the new platform is secure, simple and mobile-friendly for users.
The new technology delivered a strong performance in the weeks leading up to the reporting deadline. System performance remained excellent during high-volume periods on deadline day, processing 99.8 per cent of submissions in less than three seconds and 80 per cent in less than one second.
More than 40 team members from across the Royal College worked together to ensure the smooth operation of the new technology and to support members during the deadline period.
Thank you to those members who took the time to reach out with positive feedback. We are pleased that so many of you found the new platform modern, efficient and user-friendly.
Royal College staff also received constructive feedback on future improvements to the platform. For example, after the deadline passed, most accounts successfully transitioned to the new cycle; however, we identified some accounts that did not complete the process. The Royal College solved the issue, and members can now access their new cycle in My MOC. If you have any outstanding questions regarding your cycle, please contact cpd@royalcollege.ca.
