In support of your continuing professional development and participation in the Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program, we are pleased to introduce the first of several enhancements to our new learning platform, My Learning.
The next phase in the implementation of our digital transformation, My Learning “channels” provide you with a similar experience to navigating video streaming services. With this release, the channels offer original and curated learning activities aligned with the Royal College strategic themes (health human resources and workforce well-being; Indigenous health, anti-racism and equity, diversity and inclusion; and planetary health and sustainable health care). In addition to these focused areas, channels offer broader topics of interest such as Peer Coaching in Practice and Essential Guidance for Quality Improvement. The platform makes it easier for you to find and access learning activities for your personal and professional growth, in addition to contributing to your MOC cycle requirements.
And there’s more — you can also use channels to tune in to your favourite Royal College podcast series, including episodes from the new KeyLIME+.
Once your learning is complete, login and record the activity in My MOC to claim your MOC credit(s). |
Haven’t visited My Learning before? We have a channel to help you! Sign in using your RC ID and check out the My Learning Orientation channel or watch a short video to guide you through the platform.
Through member feedback and in collaboration with subject-matter experts, we will continually expand the learning activities available through the channels to offer a quality selection of Royal College-developed and externally curated content from trusted sources. Coming soon: changes to the My Learning home page that will improve site navigation based on member suggestions!
We are committed to supporting you throughout your journey of lifelong learning and we look forward to bringing you more tools and resources through the platform in 2025 and beyond.
